In store adoption events have been suspended for at least two weeks at Petco locations.
We will be having private meet and greets with our adoptable dogs. If you are interested in meeting one of them please fill out an application. We are so sorry for the inconvenience.
In addition, in an effort to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, we will be moving Poker for Puppies 2020 to June 14th.
Each passing day brings new developments, but we believe this is the responsible thing to do to keep our volunteers, supporters and attendees safe.
This was not an easy decision. We are all pretty anxious and worried but we want what is best for the canine loving, poker playing community.
Poker for Puppies is our financial fundraiser that gets us through the Spring and Summer months. While everyone in the community joins together to deal with the Coronavirus, we are also looking to our community… all of you, the amazing supporters of Dawg Squad, to help us continue to help the dogs during this time too. The biggies, the littles, those medically in need, the homeless dogs of Los Angeles. We won’t forget them. We will continue to be here for them as much as we can. No matter what.
