Lilly, a gentle 12-year-old, was brought to a veterinary hospital to be euthanized. Her family had given up on her, but the hospital didn’t. Instead, they chose compassion and transferred her to the Carson shelter—giving her one last chance at life.

That chance brought her to an experienced Dawg Squad foster home, but before Lilly could begin again, she needed urgent medical attention. She was suffering from glaucoma in a neglected eye, an inguinal hernia, and four mammary tumors. What began as a simple rescue turned into a race to save her life.

And you made her miracle possible.
Because of your generosity, Lilly received multiple surgeries and the intensive care she desperately needed. Today, she’s thriving in her foster home—happy, healing, and finally on her way to the forever family she deserves.

Then there’s Frankie, a French Bulldog, who arrived at the Squad only a few months ago. Frightened and unsure at first, he blossomed under the care of our volunteers and the loving structure of our program. Today, Frankie has found a foster who has fallen completely in love—and is ready to make him family. We couldn’t be more thrilled for both of them.
