When Sugar came to us she had open wounds over most of her body and a really ugly wound over her left eye.

And this dog…..she knew right where to go to have someone take care of her.    Sugar walked up the driveway of one of our fosters/adopters and just waited to be seen.   And once we saw her, we knew we had to take care of this sweet dog.

  • Sugar was microchipped but after calling her previous people several times and receiving no response, Sugar was staying with us!  And we were going to take care of her

  • Our vet worked very hard to clean off all the dead skin, sterilize her wounds and make sure that Sugar was comfortable.  It was not pain free but Sugar didn’t complain.   She knew she was in good hands.

Sugar is well on her way to being 100%    Her skin is healing and that sad face in the picture is beginning to turn into that famous pitbull smile.
