Tomato

Who Am I?

Tomato (Tomi) was found in an almond grove in Central California along with her sister Lettuce (not available YET).

She was terrified of humans, very feral and bonded to her sister.   We split the girls up so they could blossom and become individual pups.

Tomi is ALMOST there.   It’s been two months of being patient and not forcing her to relate to her foster parents.     She is now approaching them for pets.

Her foster Dad says “Tomi has an innate joy. She really wants to be happy. Her fears keep her back. When she feels safe, she’s very cuddly, excitable, and happy. She wants to be near people. She likes to meet human and dog visitors.”   She is housebroken, very treat motivated, and leash training is coming along slowly.

Tomi is an avid gardener and loves helping out with the laundry.

She MUST go to a home with another dog.    Her canine brother and sister have helped her relax inside a home.   She will need more training and assurance from another canine.
