Who Am I?

Julie was surrendered to the South LA shelter and we received a call to pull her and her “friend” Kevin. The two of them were covered in ticks and it appears their owners tried to get rid of the ticks by giving both of them one of the worse shave jobs we have seen.

Julie may be Kevin’s Mom….we are not sure. And while they might like hanging out with each other, they are not bonded.

She is shy at first with humans but gets along great with other dogs. We are working on her social skills and on her housebreaking . We don’t think she was ever inside a house until she joined the Squad.

Julie is quiet and calm and is now happy to sit on her foster Dad’s lap and just hang out.

She is anemic from the ticks, but we are feeding her a healthy diet and her bloodwork is improving. She will be spayed prior to adoption.
