Ziggy

Who Am I?

This tiny little guy was getting a bath when we saw him at the shelter.    Poor Ziggy suffers from demodectic mange (not contagious) and the shelter staff was trying to make him feel better with a medicated bath.

He’s only 2 years old and 5 pounds but he looks like he has lived a lifetime, doesn’t he?   We know he’s going to look awesome once his fur grows back and he puts on some weight.

Ziggy doesn’t just have skin issues….he also has an enlarged heart.   We are not able to neuter him at this time but that’s not an issue at his foster home since everyone else has been taken care of .   Ziggy is going to see a cardiologist within the next few weeks and we will get a better handle on this and how to treat it.

In the meantime….he’s a love and is getting lots of love in his foster home
