Papaya

Who Am I?

Papaya’s owner died and the adult kids didn’t want her anymore.  So she was relinquished to a city shelter.

When we saw her, she was cowering in the back of her kennel, scared out of her mind.    Knowing she would never get adopted like that, we took her in.

It hasn’t been easy.   She is very shy but does bond quickly  Once she loves you, she really loves you.    Her foster parents are very patient and she is now giving them lots of cuddles and vying for attention with their other two dogs.

Papaya must go to a home with another dog.   It doesn’t matter male or female.   But having another dog around gives her the security she needs and provides her with a mentor
