Iris

Who Am I?

This kid couldn’t catch a break.   When she was first brought into the shelter, she was so matted, they had to shave off all her fur.   Then they put her in a kennel with a “brat” and she got her rear end bit pretty badly.   And THEN, the shelter didn’t bother watching the wounds and they festered and her skin died and……

OK you get the picture.  If we hadn’t gotten her that Sunday, she would have been dead by Monday.    And now she is getting bandage changes every day to keep her poor tushy clean and to make sure the skin has a clean dry surface on which to regenerate.

And she’s so good with all this medical nonsense.   And she’s not embarrassed wearing her “diaper covers”.   Iris is just a good natured little poodle mix who is just happy that someone FINALLY is taking care of her

Iris lives with a variety of foster dogs and is housebroken and crate trained.   She will be spayed prior to adoption
